Be Mindful of Monsters: Fire Edition

This story is an adaptation of “Be Mindful of Monsters”, written to help children understand and accept their feelings in the wake of a disaster. The goal is to show kids that hard emotions aren’t there to hurt them—they’re like friends trying to share something important. By noticing and taking care of these feelings, children can begin to heal, even when things feel overwhelming. T

Through Ezzy’s journey, this book encourages kids to talk about their emotions, express them in healthy ways, and lean on the support of family and community.
